Margaret Goldthorpe
runs highly effective training which enables schools both to develop
a distinctive ethos and to promote self-discipline in children’s
learning and behaviour. She also specialises in helping schools
create a whole-school approach to dealing with difficult parents.
Her training days are well received by participants who enjoy the
interactive style, humour and practical guidelines drawn from years
of experience as a teacher and trainer.
Margaret has been a teacher
for 30 years in both primary and secondary schools and has worked
as a member of a Behaviour Support Advisory Service for two Local
Authorities. She has run training for hundreds of schools in both
the Maintained and Independent sectors. She has spoken at numerous
conferences including: IAPS Annual Conferences, (both Prep and Pre-Prep),
NAHT, ISA, SHMIS, GSA and Service Schools Annual Conferences. She
is the author of six books. She still teaches one day a week in
a maintained special school. |
